WSA Celebrates Earth Week!!!

Earth Week at WSA

Students and West Side Academy of Information Technology and Cyber Security (WSA) wrote speeches for the Earth Week Assembly to tell students about clean recycling, the Rainbow Plate challenge, and Powering Down to reduce the juice. Students also put seeds and dirt into containers for distribution to classroom teachers in a competition to see which class can grow the tallest plant. With Sunday, April 22nd being Earth Day, WSA continued to celebrate through the week of April 23rd with Power Downs all week, Gardening Tuesday, Hydroponics on Wednesday, and Meter Readings on Friday to see how much impact our weeklong reduce the juice had on our energy footprint.
